About pallet loading
- How many Euro pallets fit in a 20ft container?
- About 11 Euro pallets (80 × 120 cm) on the floor in a single layer, or roughly 10 standard/industrial pallets (100 × 120 cm). A 40ft container takes around 25 Euro or 21 standard pallets.
- How many pallets fit on a trailer?
- A standard 13.6 m curtainsider holds about 33 Euro pallets or 26 standard pallets on the floor. Double-stacking roughly doubles the count if the goods and the height allow it.
- Why is it only an estimate?
- The real number depends on the loading pattern, any overhang, how the pallets are turned, and door clearance. These are the typical single-layer floor capacities used for planning — your carrier confirms the exact fit.
- What is the difference between a Euro and a standard pallet?
- A Euro (EPAL) pallet is 80 × 120 cm; a standard or industrial pallet is 100 × 120 cm. The wider standard pallet fits fewer per vehicle, which is why the counts differ.
- Is it free?
- Yes. It runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded, no sign-up.
