3. Obtaining Quotes

Clients can request service quotes through our website or by contacting our customer service team. All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance and are subject to change based on market conditions and service availability.

4. Booking and Execution of Services

Upon acceptance of a quote, clients must provide all necessary details, including accurate descriptions of goods, pickup and delivery addresses, and any special handling requirements. SAMJAKE LOGISTICS reserves the right to refuse or cancel services if the provided information is incomplete or inaccurate.

5. Payment Terms

• Advance Payment: All services must be paid in full prior to the commencement of transportation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfer, credit/debit cards, and other methods as specified on our website.
• Late Payments: In the event of late payment, SAMJAKE LOGISTICS reserves the right to charge interest at a rate of 2% above the Bank of England’s base rate per annum, calculated daily from the due date until full payment is received.

6. Liability and Indemnity

• CMR Convention: For international road transport, SAMJAKE LOGISTICS operates under the Convention on the Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (CMR), which applies to contracts for the carriage of goods by road between different countries, including the UK. • Limitation of Liability: Our liability for loss or damage to goods is limited as per the CMR Convention and applicable UK laws. Clients are advised to obtain additional insurance coverage if the value of their goods exceeds these limits.
• Indemnity: Clients agree to indemnify and hold SAMJAKE LOGISTICS harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the transportation of prohibited or improperly declared goods.

7. Cancellations and Penalties

• Client Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service charge.
• Service Delays: While we strive to meet all delivery timelines, SAMJAKE LOGISTICS is not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our control, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, traffic disruptions, or customs delays.

8. Prohibited and Restricted Goods

Clients must not tender for transportation any goods that are illegal, hazardous (unless properly declared and packaged), perishable (without prior agreement), or otherwise restricted by law. SAMJAKE LOGISTICS reserves the right to refuse or halt the transportation of such goods.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Amendments
